Job Description 

POSITION OPENING: PARKS/LANDSCAPE CREW

Seasonal, part-time, flexible schedule; including weekdays, possible weekends and holidays

HIRING RANGE: $13.50-$14.85 (dependent upon experience)

POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for assisting the Park Supervisor or Groundskeeper in maintaining Service Area parks and grounds efficiently to provide a clean, safe and comfortable atmosphere for patrons. Areas include the Rec Center grounds, surrounding Parks and areas that the Service Area manages and maintains.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of grounds and lawn care maintenance 
• Must be at least 16 years of age to operate machinery. 
• Good physical health and strength. 
• Approved Criminal Background Investigation check if over 18 years if age.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: 

• Clean restrooms and pavilions daily. 
• Cares for turf area regularly. 
• Completes refurbishment and major cleaning duties as assigned by the Parks Supervisor and/or Groundskeeper. 
• Maintains ball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts daily. 
• Maintain sand area in playgrounds, horseshoe pits, and volleyball courts.
• Maintain cleanliness of tennis courts by sweeping daily and washing weekly.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisors.
