What's New At The Rec Center

What's New At The Rec Center

Salt Lake County in partnership with the City of Cottonwood Heights and the CHPRSA are currently building three (3) more outdoor pickleball courts to the East of the current courts.  The swing set is being relocated, on site, West of the playground.  A large majority of the trees that have been removed for this project were in bad condition and health.  However, by ordinance, any tree that needed to be removed is being replaced at a 2:1 ratio.  The double amount of new and healthy trees will be planted throughout the park.

CHPRSA works closely with the City of Cottonwood Heights, but they are governed completely independent of each other.  The CHPRSA boundaries are similar to that of the City’s, but they are not the same.  However, we do have an interlocal agreement with the City of Cottonwood Heights to maintain some of the City’s landscapes, parks, and trails.  We work together on many projects to not duplicate services to our residents.
