Ice Arena Monitor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Alert, attentive and responsible.
  • Communication and human relations abilities.

POSITION PURPOSE

  • Responsible to supervise ice arena during scheduled CHPRSA programming.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Part-Time, non-benefited.
  • 3-6 hour shifts
    • Early morning, weekday mornings: 5:15am-8am, 5:15am-11:15am
    • Midday shift, weekdays: 11:15am-4pm
    • Sunday evenings: 4pm-8pm

SALARY

  • $9.05-$9.42/hr.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Ensure that only paying patrons are entering the rink for Freestyles, Stick ‘n Puck, and/or Drop-In Hockey sessions.
  • Supervise Ice Arena during after-hours hockey events (Sunday evenings)
