Basketball Court

• $50/hr for private purposes (practices, games, etc.)
• $75/hr for commercial purposes (clinics, camps, etc.)
• Rental requests MUST be submitted by the 25th of the month previous to the desired rental date.
• Track is not included with any court rental.
• Food permitted on carpeted areas but not on basketball court.
• CHRC can provide basketballs in exchange for collateral, but otherwise, no other equipment or supplies are provided for private rentals. 
• If needed, tables and chairs available upon request.
• Private rental windows August-March are extremely limited, as CHRC prioritizes in-house programming and general open gym times.Gym can be reserved for $50/hr for private purposes (team practices, birthday party, etc), and $75/hr for commercial purposes and/or events, if request is submitted at least two weeks in advance, hours and availability pending.

Dance Studios

Dance Room

• Located on the ground level via the Ice Arena lobby
• $20/hr (+$10/hr if you want to use our sound system).
• Tables, chairs, and food or drink other than water are not allowed during dance room reservations .
• CHRC group fitness equipment and supplies not available for use, renter is assumed to bring all necessary supplies.
• This room is designed for physical activity, and does not replace a party room.  Please leave the room in the condition you found it

• The Aerobics Room (upstairs) is exclusively for CHRC Group Fitness programming and not available for private rental.

Ice Rink

Ice Rink

Team practices, games, scrimmages, etc. (no equipment provided or staffing required by CHRC)

• $175/hr for team practices, games, or rentals where renters bring their own equipment (pick-up games, etc.).
• Locker rooms are available no sooner than 30 minutes prior to reservation start time. 
• Hockey teams will receive ONE locker rooms, unless there are mixed gender teams, then teams will receive two locker rooms max.
• Nets provided for practices and games, but no pucks or sticks. 
• The Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center DOES NOT accommodate dry-land warmup activities, outside of within that 30 minute window, and must happen in the ice locker room hallway.

Private skating events (equipment and staffing provided by CHRC)

• Require at least two weeks' notice and are subject to availability and staffing abilities. 
• Based on the estimated number of skaters, the first hour of ice is $225-$425, with any additional time billed at $175/hr.  
  Less than 50 people - $225/first hour
  51-100 people - $275/first hour
  101-200 people - $325/first hour
  201-300 people - $375/first hour
  301+ - $425/first hour
• Skate rental and staffing are covered by the first hours' fee, whether the rental goes beyond the initial hour or not.
• Food permitted at designated tables at rink-side or lobby area only.

Multi-Purpose Rooms

Specialty Room

• Room is available for meetings only, no parties. Please see our Splash Zone Party Room for swim parties or our Ice Arena Party Room for skate parties.
• 48 people MAX (24 during the ongoing COVID pandemic)
• 48 chairs and 8 tables MAX (located within room**).
• $25-$30/hr
• 40'x22'
• Downstairs by Racquetball Court entrances.
• No AV hookups or projector available.
• Two whiteboards (no markers provided).
•  **Due to the variety of activities which occur in these rooms, tables and chairs are located against one of the respective walls and ARE NOT setup by default.
• **Renter is expected to take care of table/chair setup, as necessary, with setup and takedown expected to take place within their reservation window.**
• **Due to location, Wi Fi NOT available in this room.

Party Rooms

• 16 people MAX 
• $20/hr
• Located within the Splash Zone Pool Area (back corner)

Ice Arena Party Room

• 20 people MAX 
• $30/Public or Open Skating Session, $15/hr during non-Public/Open sessions
  • You can book the party room online here for Public Ice Skating Sessions. 
• Located within Ice Arena (southwest corner)
• **Due to the variety of activities which occur in these rooms, tables and chairs are located against one of the respective walls and ARE NOT setup by default. No extra tables or chairs can be brought in due to the size of the rooms.*
• **Renter is expected to take care of table/chair setup, as necessary, with setup and takedown expected to take place within their reservation window.**

Swimming Pools

Indoor Pools

• Indoor pools are not available to rent at this time.

Outdoor Pools

• Outdoor pools are not available for private rentals at this time.
• A rate of $4.50 per person is available for groups over 25 people. Please email with the date and time of your group's visit to get the rate.
• Bringing a group to the pool? Here's what you need to know:
  • All tables are first come first serve, we can't save them or reserve them.
  • Personal umbrellas for shade are okay, NO CANOPIES.
  • Outside food or drink is allowed. NO GLASS, NO ALCOHOL. 
  • NO GRILLS, electric or open flame allowed. 
  • Birthday parties: minimal decorations are okay. Anything you bring with you, must leave with you (balloons, tablecloths, etc.) No Piñatas or silly string allowed.

Entire Facility/Private Events

• Available after regular facility hours only and subject to approval by Executive Director.
• Typically starting as early as 9:15pm in winter months or 8:15pm in summer months.
• Rates are subject to areas of the facility requested and length of proposed rental.
